Differential Equations

 

A differential equation is a type of equations that involves one or more functions and their derivatives. There are two main sections of differential equations, ODE's are the ordinary differential equations which are the simple type, and PDE's are the partial differential equations. 

This branch of mathematics is essential in all other sciences, especially in physics where each function represent a physical variable. Hence physical relations can be described as differential equations.
