Numerical Analysis

 Numerical Analysis can be defined as the branch of mathematics and computer science that creates, analyzes, and implements algorithms for solving numerically the problems of continuous mathematics. There are several computing software applications including MATLAB, S-PLUS, and IDL. Many computer algebra systems such as Mathematica also benefit from the availability of arbitrary -precision arithmetic that has the ability to produce more accurate results.
