Probability
Probability is a branch of mathematics that deals with determining the possibility of the outcome of any random event. The probability equation is simple, where the number of favorable outcomes is divided by the total number of outcomes. For an example, flipping a coin can produce two events; the first is showing a head on the coin while the second shows tail. The probability of a head to come as a result is 1/2.
Probability is an essential subject in most sciences! In biology, we use it mainly in the study of "Heredity" and Genetics, where we have to predict the phenotype of offsprings. I've always loved probability!
