Statistics can be defined as the study of the collection, analysis, interpretation, presentation, and organization of data. In applying statistics to a scientific, industrial, or social problem, it is conventional to begin with a statistical population or a statistical model to be studied.It has a huge scope in many fields such as sociology, psychology, geology, weather forecasting, etc.
